Volunteering Activities

There are many different types of activities you could do when volunteering. Take a look at the list below and think about your possibilities.

  • Get involved more in your favourite hobby.
  • Try a new 'hobby'.
  • Trying out a place you might like to work in the future.
  • Help other people.
  • Help the environment.
  • Help build or improve community facilities.
  • Support another person.
  • Becoming a mentor or ambassador.

Volunteering enables you to learn new skills, get work experience, build your confidence and make new friends.  It's something you can put into a portfolio, on your CV and application forms. Here's a great site to check out  www.thingstodoin.org.uk
